The Together Group purchase empty properties that require substantial repair and refurbishment, Glasgow has expanded on this concept by also constructing new build properties utilizing pre-fabricated components manufactured off site by current offenders.

Not only does this enable us to create employment for those burdened with a criminal conviction, but also ensures that when the property is resold we can make a profit to reinvest back into the social enterprise.

  • Baillieston New Build

    The Together Group enters a new phase as we move into new build for the first time.

    Planning permission documentation has been submitted to allow us to construct seven ultra modern, high spec but affordable properties with work commencing this summer. We will be employing a minimum of five clients on the site who will be involved in every aspect of new build from start to finish helping to leave a positive legacy that their descendants can drive past in years to come and know their family had a hand in the construction.

  • Nithsdale Road, Pollockshields Conservation Area

    The former Gurdwara is a substantial sandstone villa (807sq.m) located in the leafy Pollockshields West conservation area and has for a number of years, and until very recently, been utilised as a Sikh Temple.

    Glasgow Together has successfully purchased the property and has begun work to convert the premises back to residential use forming three extremely high quality flats each of which will have their own floor level and separate entrance.

    Work is ongoing with a minimum of five clients employed on what will be a very prestigious and interesting development completing October 2017.

  • Victoria Park

    The Glasgow Together team are currently on site converting a two bedroomed terraced property into three bedrooms as well as adding a family room, new bathroom, sun room and open plan kitchen extension. The property required complete modernisation including rewire and has been a great experience for the new workers. On completion this Summer it will be significantly improved to an exceptionally high standard and we are very confident of a quick sale given the area, the workmanship and the quality of fittings.

  • Montgomerie Road

    This property comprising a three bedroom bungalow has been extended and updated to an exacting standard as the accompanying images demonstrate. A huge kitchen diner and family room has been constructed at the rear of the property as well as a loft conversion providing two more bedrooms.

    Montgomerie Road is complete having exceeded expectations when valued and is expected to sell within a matter of weeks. Not only has the project provided a profit to be reinvested it has been a phenomenal training experience for three clients two of whom had never before worked in construction. One of those involved in the project has now moved on to full time employment with a bricklaying squad solely due to the impression he made on site.

  • Bellevue Road

    A quirky property in an excellent area which is currently being reduced to a shell and rebuilt internally from the ground up to provide two extra bedrooms and a much improved frontage onto a lovely street.

    Three clients will be involved in every aspect of the project which will complete later this year and on the market for Christmas.
