Something that always brings mixed feelings is the moment when clients we have employed move on to work elsewhere as a result of their commitment to working with Glasgow Together. We are always as delighted as they are (well almost!) to see a life changing opportunity come their way but it comes with a hint of sadness to see a valued member of the team move on.
The Difference We Make
Its safe to say that the majority of our days on site are not spent talking about feelings or how our lives have changed so its a rare and special occasion when anyone strays beyond the usual safe topics of sports and banter. This was one such occasion.

Midlands Site Visit
Glasgow Together Chief Executive Barry Mochan and Project Manager Darren Jeffrey recently visited the soon to complete Hestia House project in Birmingham and were delighted to meet with a number of clients to discuss the positive effects employment has had in many aspects of their lives.
The Hestia House project has seen an empty office block converted into 23 high quality studio apartments and will complete on schedule this Autumn. Many of those on site have been employed there right from the beginning and have taken a huge amount of satisfaction in seeing the job through to handover stage.
